Your Guide to Verizon's Disney+ Free Trial

After months of waiting, Disney+ is finally unveiling this week. But there's a special surprise in store for Verizon customers. The cell phone company is offering a Disney+ free trial for a year to all customers with an unlimited data plan.

It's all part of Disney+'s aggressive launch. At $6.99 a month, the streaming service is already on the lower end of the streaming wars, especially considering what it offers. The House of Mouse's new streaming service will give subscribers access to Disney's extensive backlog of movies, Star Wars and Marvel properties, as well as its own originals. That means if you want to watch brand new shows about Loki, a New Republic gunslinger, or High School Musical you're going to have to subscribe to Disney+. The service is also offering another unbelievably good bundle deal. For just $12.99 a month, users can subscribe to Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+. That's three streaming services for a little more than the cost of a basic Netflix subscription.

But certain Verizon customers won't have to pay a dime for Disney+. Wondering if you're one of them? Here's everything you need to know about the Disney+ free trial available to Verizon customers.

When Is Disney Plus Available?

Your week just got a whole lot more exciting. Disney+ launches on Tuesday, November 12. The streaming service will have over 600 shows and movies for you to enjoy. And before you ask, yes that includes all of your favorite Disney Channel Original Movies.

What Are the Terms of Verizon's Disney Plus Free Trial?

If you already have a Verizon plan with unlimited data, you won't need to subscribe to Disney+. The streaming service is being offered for free for a year to all customers with 4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless plans. This deal is available to both new and existing unlimited data customers, so if you've been considering updating your cell phone plan now may be a good time to do it. The same 12-month offer is also available to new Fios broadband or 5G home wireless internet customers.

The promo deal will be made available on Disney+'s launch day on November 12. After this 12-month promo trial, subscribers will go back to paying $6.99 a month for Disney+ unless they decide to cancel. Unfortunately, this deal doesn't apply to Hulu or ESPN+. But still that's a saving of $7 a month for Disney fanatics.

How Do I Get Disney Plus Through Verizon?

If you already have an unlimited data or 5G home internet with Verizon then it's easy. Log into your Verizon account either through the desktop version or through the Verizon app. Go to your "Account." Select "Manage Add-ons and Apps." Then choose "Disney+." If you have any problems, check out Verizon's step-by-step troubleshooting guide for new and existing customers interested in Disney+. Now get to streaming!

What if I am not a Verizon subscriber?

Not a problem. Disney+ is available for everyone, regardless of your wireless or home internet provider. Sign up here for a seven-day free trial of Disney+.
